Day (01)

Cairo

Arrival Cairo international airport, meet & assist upon arrival by World Avenues representative and transferred to your chosen hotel.

Day (02)

Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel, This morning explore one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the nearby mysterious Sphinx carved from a single block of limestone. Back to the hotel & overnight.

Day (03)

Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel, This morning visit the fabulous Egyptian Museum, home to priceless antiquities; including statues, reliefs, sarcophagi, and the King Tutankhamun’s treasures discovered in the valley of the kings in Luxor by Howard Carter in 1922. Back to the hotel & overnight.

Day (04)

Cairo Aswan

Early morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan airport you will be met and transferred to your cruiser.
Embarkation before lunch, afternoon free.
Nubian show.
Overnight on board.

Day (05)

Kalabsha – Beit El Wali - Wadi El Seboua

Breakfast, We start by visiting the Kalabsha temple, which was dedicated to Isis, Osiris, and Horus-Mandulis. Kalabsha temple south of the High dam. Kalabsha temple complex is considered the most important monument on the lake Nasser as it contains the main temple of Kalabsha. We continue our visit to Beit El Wali temple which is very close to the Kalabsha temple. Beit El Wali temple represents another monument of Ramses II, dedicated mainly to Amun-Ra, together with other gods. The temple was carved from the sandstone hillside and is unique as the smallest of its type. During the early Christian era the temple was transformed into a church.
Sail to Wadi El Seboua.
Lunch on board.

Day (06)

Wadi El Seboua – Dakka –Amada

Visit Wadi El Seboua temple originally known as the “House of Amun-Ra”, south of the high dam. The temple was built by Amenhotep III and dedicated to the Nubian form God Horus. It is considered the 2nd biggest temple of the Nubians’ temples after Abu Simble temple. During the early Christian era the temple was as a church. Our next visit to Dakka temple is Meriotic and Ptolemic Temple, was originally located about 100km south of the Aswan high dam. Dakka was moved to the site of El Sebua between 1962 -1968. There is somewhat a dispute on the date the temple was built. It was dedicated to “Thoth”, he is an unusual god. God Thoth of divine wisdom, lord of times and science, master of literature
Sail to Amada
Visit Amada temple, the oldest of the temples dating back 18th Dynasty with restoration work from 19th dynasty. In the construction of the temple TuthmosisIII, Amenhotep II and Tuthmoise IV were all involved but Seti I restored sections of the temple. Amada temple was dedicated to Amun-Ra and Re-Harakhte. Although the temple is small nevertheless it contains some important historical inscriptions and is significant as the oldest of the Lake Nasser temples

Day (07)

Kasr Ibrim- Abu Simbel

Early morning sail to Kasr Ibrim. Visit Kasr Ibrim temple (EXTERIOR). Kasr Ibrim temple is the only monument on the lake Nasser that still exists in its original location. It once stood on the highest of 3 headlands on the east bank; it housed as many as six temples and a Roman era fort. The fort may date to the Middle Kingdom and it has been rebuilt and used in a variety of ways over time, including as a church and mosque. (This tour is conducted from the cruise boats sun deck as entrance to the site is not permitted). Sail to Abu Simbel temples.
Music & Cocktail.
In 1968 Abu Simbel temple was dismantled and reassembled in a new location 65m higher and 200m back from the river. The Abu Simbel complex consists of two temples the great temple took 20 years to build and was completed around year 24 of the reign of Ramses II. It was dedicated to the gods Amun-Ra, Ra-Horakhty and Ptah. The temple is considered the grandest and most beautiful of the temples built during the reign of Ramses II. The smaller temple dedicated to the goddess Hathor, personified by Nefertari, Ramses most beloved wife. At night attend the sound and light show at Abu Simbel.

Day (08)

Abu Simbel – Cairo

After breakfast disembarkation, morning at leisure.
Transfer to Abu Simbel airport for flight to Cairo.
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport you will be met, assisted by World Avenues Representative and transferred to your hotel.
Rest of day at leisure.

Day (09)

Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel, check out, then World Avenues representative will escort you to Cairo international airport for your onward flight home.
